NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- The top-ranked Christopher Newport University men's soccer team (11-0-0, 1-0-0) will cap off CNU's Family Weekend events with a 7 pm tilt against Ferrum College (2-7-2, 0-0-1) tonight. The Captains return to USA South Action with a perfect 11-0 mark so far this season.

Ferrum opened up conference play with a 1-1 draw against Greensboro College, while the Captains opened with a 2-0 victory over Averett. CNU is coming off back-to-back wins against nationally ranked opponents on the road, as they dropped #6 Trinity and #25 Mary Washington in a pair of 1-0 victories.

The Panthers are led by Aaron Gustine, scoring six of Ferrum's nine goals this season. He has 13 points so far this season.

CNU is led by junior goalkeeper Justin Wolfe (Williamsburg, Va.), who has posted six solo shutouts in just 11 games this year, and ranks among the nation's best in goals against average with a 0.37 mark. Offensively, juniors Brian Lybert (Honolulu, Hawaii) and Winston Mattheisen (Norfolk, Va.) with 18 and 13 points respectively.
