NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- The second-ranked Captains of Christopher Newport University (16-1-1, 4-1-0) will close out the regular season tonight, as they welcome in Greensboro College (3-11-3, 0-3-2) in USA South action. The Pride and Captains will kick-off at 7 pm, immediately following a special pre-game ceremony honoring the senior class of 2010.
CNU is unbeaten in five straight games, and are back atop the national rankings in both polls, ranked second by D3Soccer.com and fourth according to the NSCAA/HendrickCars.com Coaches Poll. The Captains boast one of the most powerful offenses in the nation, averaging nearly three goals per game (2.96), and one of the stingiest defenses, allowing just 0.66 goals against.

Brian Lybert continues his dominant season for CNU, with a team-high nine goals and 13 assists, for 31 total points. He is currently tied for the national lead in helpers this season. Greensboro is led by Joe Peluso and Chris Davis, each with eight points this season.
