Andrew Thompson returns to Christopher Newport and the Volleyball program for the 2019 season after graduating in December 2015 with a degree in History. While at CNU, he served as team manager in 2014 and 2015 and played on the men's club volleyball team for four years, serving as captain the final three seasons. He also has playing experience with the Richmond Volleyball Club Juniors team.
Upon graduating from CNU, he was commissioned into the US Army. He served at Fort Irwin, Calif., as a Transportation Officer from May 2016 to August 2019 and is currently a First Lieutenant stationed in Fort Lee, Va., where he serves as a Logistics Officer.
