Christopher Newport University

Genny joins the mentor team as a former collegiate athlete and CNU student.  She received her undergraduate degree from James Madison University, where she swam on the women’s swim team.   She completed her K-12 teacher certification at CNU and taught elementary school in Hampton City Schools.   After starting a family, Genny spent many years serving her community and raising 3 children.  Genny is excited to join the CNU Athletics Academics Support Staff and looks forward to guiding student athletes to reach their full potential academically.
