Nicole Nee joined the CNU coaching staff in 2015 as a team manager after competing for the Captains during her freshman year in 2014.

In her first year on the sidelines, she helped Christopher Newport post a 30-3 record while advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Along the way, the squad won its third straight Capital Athletic Conference title.

Prior to joining the coaching staff, Nee appeared in four matches and earned one start as a middle blocker during the 2014 season. In her lone year on the team, she helped the Captains secure the CAC championship and reach the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament.

A Fine Arts major at CNU, Nee earned a spot on the Academic All-Conference team for her efforts in the classroom. Prior to arriving at Christopher Newport, she graduated from Powhatan High School and was an All-District volleyball player for the Indians.
