Kate Jarrett has been a member of the CNU volleyball program since 2011. The 2014 season marks her second year as a student assistant after spending two seasons as an outside hitter.

During her career on the court, Jarrett appeared in 26 matches from 2011-12. Over that time, she posted 34 kills, 22 digs, nine blocks, and seven aces. A native of Chesapeake, Va., she helped lead Christopher Newport to a pair of NCAA Tournament berths, including a run to the national championship match during her freshman campaign in 2011.

As a sophomore, she appeared in 10 matches and was honored with a spot on the USA South All-Sportsmanship team for her contributions during the year.
