Assistant Coach

After establishing herself as one of the most successful right-side hitters in Christopher Newport history, Christie Fellows transitioned to the coaching staff and begins her second season as an assistant coach with the Captains in 2014.

A native of Vienna, Va., Fellows joined the CNU program in 2010 and helped anchor the team’s incredible run of postseason dominance. Named to the AVCA All-Region squad during each of her final two seasons, she appeared in 121 career matches and blasted 761 kills. Her .267 hitting percentage also ranks seventh in school history.

A two-time All-USA South selection, she was also a second-team All-State pick in 2011. Just as successful in the classroom, she was a perennial member of the USA South All-Academic team.
