Biography

2012 - Senior Season - Remained a valuable member of the defensive unit during her final collegiate campaign … Took part in 17 games, including both contests during the NCAA Tournament … Earned starts in three straight games from September 30 - October 7, including back-to-back wins over No. 19 Lynchburg and No. 5 Mary Washington to kick off that run … Also cracked the lineup in a win over Wilson on November 4 … Helped the Captains rank 12th in the NCAA in goals-against-average while playing a role in three shutouts … Contributed on the offensive end as well with a goal at Virginia Wesleyan on September 26 … Collected seven shots during the year and put four of those attempts on cage.
 
2011 - Junior Season - Was sidelined for most of the season during her third year with the Captains.
 
2010 - Sophomore Season - Served as a stabilizing force in the lineup while starting all 19 games during her second year at CNU … Established a new school record by converting four penalty stroke goals … Blasted the overtime game-winner at Washington (Md.) on October 3 … Also added the clinching blow against Mary Washington on October 9 … Converted strokes in triumphs over Stevenson on September 12 and Johns Hopkins on October 18 … Scored her first collegiate goal against McDaniel on September 11 … Finished the season with seven shots and put all of them on target.
 
2009 - Freshman Season - Broke into the starting lineup during her first campaign in Newport News … Saw time in all 20 games and earned 17 starts while helping anchor the defensive unit … Led the Captains to six shutouts, including a 1-0 win over Cabrini in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on November 11 … Eventually started both games during the national playoffs … Made a defensive save in a win over Virginia Wesleyan on September 23 … Cracked the starting lineup in each of the first 13 games of the season, including bouts with three nationally-ranked opponents … Posted a shot in a win against Limestone on October 31.
 
At Grafton - Collected All-State honors during her time playing for coach Donald Samuels … Also brought home All-Region and All-District accolades … Selected to the U-19 National Futures Team … Earned highest academic honors … Was a member of the National Honor Society and worked with the Reading Ambassador’s Program.
