Christopher Newport University

Lindsay Kurtz returns to the CNU coaching staff for her second season in 2016, coming to the Captains after serving as Girls Director of Coaching at Newport News FC. 

Kurtz has been with NNFC since 2012 after graduating from the University of Richmond, where she started for three years. Kurtz, playing under her maiden name of Lindsay Wicher, began her career as a starter at Santa Clara University before transferring to the Spiders back line. She played in 63 total games, making 49 career starts and finishing her career as a defender with two goals and three assists. 

Kurtz is currently an elementary school teacher in York County. She is a nationally licensed coach by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
