Olivia McMurtrie begins her first season as an assistant coach with the Christopher Newport women's lacrosse team.

McMurtrie, who graduated from CNU in December with a degree in management, previously served two years as a team manager with the Captains. Prior to her time on the sidelines, she competed for CNU in 2013. During that season, she appeared in nine games and helped the squad win the USA South Championship and advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.
