Lizzie Burgoyne begins her first year as a team manager with the Captains after serving as a goalie on the squad during the previous two seasons.

From 2019-20, Burgoyne saw action in eight games while helping Christopher Newport compile a 5-3 record during her appearances. Her finest hour came during a five-save showcase in a league battle at Southern Virginia as a freshman in 2019.

Prior to arriving in Newport News, Burgoyne was an All-League performer at Glen Rock High School in New Jersey. During her time with the Panthers, she served as a team captain, guided the squad to a league championship, and polished off her career with 519 saves.
