Biography

2025 - Fifth Season - Greaver concluded her illustrious career with the Captains by having her jersey number 32 retired by Head Coach Keith Parr...Greaver was selected the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Year for the second time in her career...named first team All-Region by NFCA...selected to NCAA Regional All-Tournament team...hit 13 home runs and drove in 60 runs in 43 games for the Captains...her 60 runs batted in was seventh in the nation...finished with a .405 batting average and a .479 on base percentage...also doubled 14 times and reached base on walks 21 times...struck out only four times all season...registered a slugging percentage of .919...named C2C Player of the Week three times...named National Player of the Week by NFCA on March 18th.

2024 - Senior Season - After missing the first 12 games of the season due to injury, Greaver put together another fantastic year, playing in 29 games and starting 28 at third base...recorded a batting average of .373 with 28 base hits in 75 at bats...led the squad with 12 doubles and smacked three home runs while driving in 29 runs, second-most on the team...led all starters with a .680 slugging percentage...reached base 17 times on walks...recorded a season-high four hits, all singles, going four-for-five vs. Salisbury at Captains Park on May 11th in the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference Tournament Championship Game, won by the Captains...was five-for-seven in the two games played by the Captains in the C2C Tournament, and was named the Most Valuable Player...also named honorable mention All-Conference in the C2C.

2023 - Junior Season - Selected the Player of the Year in the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference following another remarkable season ... became just the 12th Christopher Newport softball standout to be named conference Player of the Year...started and played in all 44 games and led the squad with a ..396 batting average ... also led the squad with 13 home runs and 41 runs batted in ... registered an .830 slugging percentage, which was 15th in the nation ... Named first team All-Conference, second team All-Region, and first team All-State ... was honored three times by the C2C as the conference Player of the Week ... posted 42 total hits in 106 at bats ... reached base 29 times on bases on balls, which was 23rd in the country ... had 11 multiple-hit games ... hit two home runs and drove in five runs in March 11 CNU win over eventual National Champion Trine at Captains Park in Cross Bay Bash...also drove in five runs, four coming on a grand slam home run, vs. Averett at Captains Park on April 23 in second game of doubleheader ... struck out just three times in 106 at bats.

2022 - Sophomore Season - Secured first-team All-Conference and second-team All-State plaudits while helping anchor the heart of the lineup during Christopher Newport's historic season ... Spent the majority of the year in the cleanup position while finishing with a .345 batting average ... Flashed game-changing power while ranking fourth in the league with 10 home runs, fifth with 90 total bases, and seventh with a .647 slugging percentage ... Hammered a pair of game-winning home runs after launching a three-run walk-off blast against No. 2 Salisbury on April 20 before adding a ninth-inning solo shot to beat No. 2 Texas Lutheran in the NCAA Finals on May 29 ... Recorded at least one hit in nine of the team's 10 games during the NCAA Tournament while helping the Captains claim the program's first national title ... Posted a .303 batting average during the playoffs while ranking third on the squad with 10 total hits ... Clubbed a pair of home runs against Meredith on April 10 ... Celebrated as the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week on April 11 ... Added another long ball while going 3-for-3 with two runs scored against No. 2 Salisbury during the league playoffs on May 5 ... Knocked in another run against the Sea Gulls in the championship game while earning a spot on the All-Conference Tournament Team ... Had 12 multi-hit outings during the season and knocked in at least two runs on 12 occasions ... Set the tone for her year with five RBI and a home run in the season-opening doubleheader against Rowan and Maryville on February 26 ... Drove in at least two runs in five of her first seven appearances ... Started all 48 games at third base while compiling a .948 fielding percentage ... Had a season-high three putouts at Randolph on March 20 before adding five assists against No. 2 Texas Lutheran on May 29 ... Had a run of 34 straight chances without an error from April 14 through May 26.

2021 - Freshman Season - Did not see action during her first year at Christopher Newport.

At Edgewood - Saw action at third base during her tenure with the Rams … Was a three-time All-County selection for her work on the diamond … Served as a team captain … Hit for the cycle during her senior campaign … Also competed in club ice hockey for six years and was a member of the marching band.
 
Personal - Brooke Elizabeth Greaver is the daughter of Rich and Melissa Greaver … Has a younger sister, Payton … Was named after Hall of Famer Brooks Robinson, who is both her favorite athlete and the person in history she would most like to meet … Michael Phelps is the most impressive person she has met … “Midway” is her favorite movie, and “Attack on Titan” is her favorite TV show … Her dream vacation would be a trip to Santorini, Greece … Doja Cat is her favorite musician … Aspires to be a second grade teacher … Majoring in elementary education.
