2009 - Junior Season - Pounded home six goals in the Guilford game, and scored twice each against Salsibury, Ferrum, Randolph-Macon, Washington and Lee and in the NCAA contest with Mary Washington...Scooped up four ground balls vs Sewanee and three in the Randolph-Macon and St. Mary’s contests.

2008 - Sophomore Season - Played a huge role on defense for CNU as the Captains earned theirthird straight NCAA bid...She earned first team all-USA South and second team all-Virginia DivisionII-III honors...Scored five goals, with two coming against Ferrum and one each versus Medaille,Greensboro and Sewanee

2007 - Freshman Season - A key defender for CNU’s second straight NCAA team. She made 14 starts in 17 games in her first season at CNU...Had four ground balls against Averett and three versus Mary Washington...Also caused three turnovers in the Averett contest...Scored a goal on her only shot of the season, against N.C. Wesleyan.

AT ROBINSON - Played lacrosse for coaches Allison Cobb and Bob McKoy and was a first team All-District and All-Region selection as a junior and was second team All-District as a senior...Her team won three district championships and finished second in the state.

PERSONAL - Alyssa Burke was born Jan. 2, 1988 in Alexandria, Va...Her major is Communications and she is the daughter of Joseph and Lynn Burke...She has a brother, Kevin, 26 and a sister, Tracy, 28.
