2023-24 - Senior Season:
Cross Country - Nailed down second-team All-Conference honors after coming in 10th at the C2C Championships with a time of 22:55.4 in the 6k ... Came back with a 36th-place finish at the NCAA South Regionals ... Posted her top clocking of the year with a 22:52.8 mark at the Rowan Interregional Border Battle ... Finished 21st during both the CNU Invitational and Paul Short Run ... Kicked off the year with a time of 16:17.9 in the 4k at the Spider Alumni Open.
Track & Field - Came in fourth in the 3000 at the Captains Invitational after crossing the line in 11:27.66 ... Added her top time of the year at the Oceanfront Invitational after notching a sixth-place showing in 11:18.62.

2022-23 - Junior Season:
Cross Country - Pieced together an award-winning campaign that concluded at the NCAA Championships ... Earned a spot at the national meet and finished 290th in the country with a time of 26:00.1 at the title competition ... Secured All-South accolades with a 13th-place showing at the NCAA Regional Championships ... Garnered first-team All-League nods after coming in third with a time of 21:53.4 in the 6k at the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Championships ... Finished 22nd at the Rowan Border Battle after crossing in 22:53.5, which earned her the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honor on October 17 ... Added an identical 22nd-place finish at the NCAA Regional Preview ... Also took part in the Paul Short Run.
Track & Field - Capped off her third year with the Captains by winning the conference championship in the outdoor 10,000 after crossing the line in 38:55.07 ... That established a new PR and placed her in the top-10 in the South Region during the 2023 campaign ... Also placed fourth in the league in the 5000 during the spring meet ... Came in third in the 3000 (10:47.79) and 5000 (19:04.62) during the winter championships as well ... Registered a new personal-best in the mile at the Richard Drake Invitational after clocking in at 5:36.37 ... 2021-22 - Sophomore Season:
Cross Country - Earned second-team All-Conference honors and secured a spot on the All-Region squad for her work in the fall … Finished 11th at the Coast-to-Coast Conference Championships while setting a 6k PR in 23:07.3 … Came back and placed 35th at the NCAA South Regionals after crossing the line in 24:14.0 … Added her top finish of the year with a fifth-place showing in 24:50.0 at the CNU Invitational … Also took part in the 6k at the Paul Short Run and Inter-Regional Border Battle … Set a two-mile PR at the Spider Alumni Open after kicking off the season with a 12:18.4 clocking in September.
Track & Field - Secured a pair of second-team All-League accolades during the year … Finished as the runner-up in the 5000 at the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Championships … Came back with a similar second-place showing in the 10,000 during the outdoor league meet … Established a pair of PRs during the spring campaign … Completed the 10,000 in 39:41.99 at the Colonial Relays before finishing the 5000 in 18:21.16 at the Swarthmore Final Qualifier … Also set a personal-best in the 3000 while winning the race in 11:02.81 at the CNU Qualifier in February … Added victories in the 5000 at the Captains Invitational and UMW Opener … Named to the second-team All-State squad for her work in the distance events during the outdoor campaign … Wrapped up the year with five top-five finishes.

Cross Country - Did not compete in the fall following a decision by the NCAA and Capital Athletic Conference to suspend athletic competitions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Track & Field - Finished seventh in the league in the 10,000 after completing the race in 41:42.95 during the Coast-to-Coast Conference Outdoor Championships … Had her top mark in the event during the Blue & Silver Challenge when she won the competition in 41:39.77 … Netted her fastest time in the 5000 (19:33.23) during the Salisbury Spring Meet … Also completed the 1500 in 5:21.02 during the UMW Opener … Took part in five races during the spring and placed in the top-10 in each of her appearances, including a pair of top-five efforts.
 
At King’s Fork - Excelled as a multi-sport standout with the Bulldogs … Became the first female cross country runner in school history to qualify for the state championships in 2019 … Also served as a team captain during her senior campaign … Established the school’s indoor mile record in 2019 and earned four varsity letters for her work on the track & field team … Completed on the soccer squad as well.

Personal - Madeline Jewel Rawlings is the daughter of John and April Rawlings … Has a younger brother, Quinten … Majoring in biology.
