2023-24 - Junior Season: Remained one of the nation's top high jumpers with garnering second-team All-American accolades for his work in the winter ... Placed ninth at the NCAA Indoor Championships after clearing 1.99 meters during the title meet ... Established a PR in the event with a 2.05-meter clearance during the South Region Final Qualifier, which moved him to third on the program's all-time indoor performance list ... Came through with his top outdoor mark of the year with matching 1.95-meter heights at the Colonial Relays and Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic ... Hauled in All-Region honors during the winter and spring ... Also garnered first-team All-State accolades during the indoor season and was a second-team pick in the outdoor campaign ... Won the conference championship in the high jump in his collegiate debut after topping 1.96 meters at the indoor league meet ... Also placed second in the conference at the spring competition with the exact same height ... Set a PR in the event with a 2.03-meter clearance at the South Region Final Qualifier, which ranked first in the region and 17th on the national charts in 2023 ... Qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the high jump and came in 19th overall with a 1.93-meter mark at the title competition ... Earned All-Region honors for his work in the indoor and outdoor high jump ... Also garnered first-team All-State accolades in the winter and second-team plaudits in the spring ... Won the high jump at the South Region Final Qualifier and Blue & Silver Challenge ... Placed in the top-five in the event during seven of his nine total appearances ... Capped off the year with a second-place showing in the high jump at the Widener Final Qualifier after topping 1.95 meters.
