2022-23 - Junior Season:
Cross Country - Secured All-Region accolades and picked up first-team All-Conference plaudits for his work during the year ... Was the runner-up at the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Championships after establishing a new PR with a time of 24:26.1 ... Came back and finished 24th at the NCAA South Regionals with a 26:57.4 mark ... Placed fourth at the Rowan Border Battle in 25:01.9, which earned him the C2C Athlete of the Week Award on October 17 ... Also finished 20th at the NCAA Regional Preview and notched a time of 25:29.8 at the prestigious Paul Short Run ... Opened the year with a 19:22.0 clocking in the 6k at the Spider Alumni Open ... Named to the USTFCCCA National All-Academic Team for his work in the classroom as well.
Track & Field - Did not see action in the winter or spring.

2021-22 - Sophomore Season:
Cross Country - Picked up All-Region honors after placing 20th at the NCAA South Regionals with a time of 26:23.2 in the 8k … Registered his top clocking over that distance at the prestigious Paul Short Run after completing the race in 25:39.9 … Came in 27th at the Coast-to-Coast Conference Championships with a time of 26:49.7 … Had his finest finish of the year at the CNU Invitational after coming in third in 26:44.0 … Also took part in the 8k at the Inter-Regional Border Battle … Set a new 5k PR at the Spider Alumni Open with a 15:36.2 mark, which placed him 21st overall … Named to the USTFCCCA National All-Academic Team for his excellent work in the classroom as well.
Track & Field - Earned a spot on the second-team All-Conference squad after placing second in the mile at the Coast-to-Coast Indoor Championships … Came back with a pair of third-place finishes in the 1500 and 5000 at the outdoor league meet … Set a new PR in the 5000 during the spring competition after finishing in 15:23.27 … Notched a new personal-best in the mile at the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic with a time of 4:15.86 … Capped off the year with another PR in the 1500 at the Williams Final Qualifier after completing the race in 3:53.12 … Added a season-best clocking in the 800 at the New Captains Classic after finishing fourth in the event with a time of 1:57.03 … Had 11 top-five finishes during the year, including third-place showings in each of his final four races of the season … Was the runner-up in the mile at the South Region Final Qualifier in March.
 
2020-21 - Freshman Season:
Cross Country - Did not compete in the fall following a decision by the NCAA and Capital Athletic Conference to suspend athletic competitions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Track & Field - Finished third in the league in a pair of events during the Coast-to-Coast Conference Outdoor Championships … Placed third in both the 800 (1:58.23) and 1500 (3:59.88) at the league competition … Set a PR in the 800 with a time of 1:55.30 at the Charm City Invitational … That marked the second-fastest time by any conference member during the spring season … Came back with a personal-best mark of 3:58.20 in the 1500 at the Emory Final Qualifier … That also ranked third among league competitors during the year … Posted a win in the 1500 with a 3:58.52 mark at the New Captains Classic … Finished third in both the 800 (1:57.41) and 5000 (16:47.66) at the UMW Opener … Came in second in the 1500 during his first collegiate action at the Salisbury Spring Meet … Had nine top-five finishes during the outdoor season.

Before CNU - Starred in cross country and track & field for the Fairfax Christian School … Also competed in soccer and basketball.
 
Personal - Nathanael Scott Ferrante is the son of Rick and Tracy Ferrante … Has three brothers, Noah, Daniel, and Matthew, and two sisters, Amanda and Naomi … His dad wrestled at Virginia Teach, and his twin brother Daniel is also on the cross country and track & field teams at Christopher Newport … His dream vacation would be a trip to the Swiss Alps … “The Irishman” is his favorite movie … Brandon Sanderson is his favorite author, and Zack Whisler is his favorite musician … Majoring in computer science and mathematics.
