Biography

2014-15: Junior Season - Capped off his third season with the Captains by earning All-American honors in both the indoor and outdoor triple jumps for the second straight year … Also was named the USTFCCCA South / Southeast Region Indoor Field Athlete of the Year for the second time in his career … Finished fifth in the triple jump at the NCAA Indoor National Championships with a distance of 14.37 meters before coming in seventh at the outdoor competition with a 14.67-meter leap … Also came in 15th in the nation in the 4x100 relay after helping the unit post a time of 41.91 at the NCAA outdoor meet … Won CAC titles in both the indoor and outdoor triple jumps … Also came in third in the long jump and sixth in the 60-meter dash during the CAC indoor meet before placing fourth in the 4x100-relay and fifth in the long jump during the league’s outdoor competition as well.
 
2013-14: Sophomore Season - Continued his decorated career by earning All-American honors in both the indoor and outdoor triple jumps … Finished second at the NCAA Outdoor National Championships with a season-best 14.89-meter effort after placing seventh at the indoor nationals with a 14.37-meter leap … Claimed conference championships in the indoor and outdoor triple jumps as well as the outdoor long jump … Also finished second in the CAC in the indoor long jump and outdoor 4x100 … Established a new PR in the long jump with a 7.09-meter showing at the Ron Althoff Invitational, which was the finest effort at the meet.
 
2012-13: Freshman Season - Pieced together an unbelievable debut season for the Captains … Honored as the USTFCCCA South / Southeast Region Indoor Field Athlete of the Year and qualified for the NCAA Championships in both the indoor and outdoor triple jumps … Eventually placed 13th in the nation in the indoor triple jump (14.20 meters) and 18th in the outdoor discipline (14.10 meters) … Also won the Mason-Dixon indoor conference titles in both the long jump and triple jump … Posted a season-best distance of 14.54 meters in the triple jump during the New Captains Classic … Had his top showing in the long jump with a 6.80-meter leap during the Washington & Lee Track & Field Carnival.

At Grassfield - Played four years of football for head coach Martin Asprey...Earned All-District, All-Tidewater and All-Regional honors.
