2006-2007 - In cross country he placed ninth at the USA South championships in 29:20.6. A member of the USA South all-academic team. A sixth place finisher in the 5000 at the Mason-Dixon Conference indoor title meet in 16:24.94, a PR. He also set an indoor PR of 9:32.70 in the Vince Brown Invitational. Had an outdoor PR in the 5000 at the Colonial Relays where he ran 16:38.10.
2005-2006 - Finished 13th at the USA South championships in 29:57. Had his best run at the Sea Gull Invitational where he was timed in 29:53. On the USA South all-academic team.
2004-2005 - Competed in six cross country meets with his top finish a 16th place at the USA South Conference Championships. Participated in the 3,000 meters at the College Lid-Lifter and the Winter Frolic as well as the 5,000 meters at the College Indoor Classic. Ran the 10,000 and 5000 in the outdoor season. In cross country, he placed 13th at the USA South championships in 29:57.
At Courtland: Ran four years of cross country for coach Jesse Johnson and ran track and played soccer as well. An Honors graduate.
Personal: Daniel Ryan Berry was born Dec. 4, 1985 in Brussels, Belgium. He is the son of Dennis and Linda Berry and is majoring in Psychology. He has two sisters, Brittany, 15 and Haliegh, 13.
