Cross Country - Did not see action during the fall.
Track & Field - Finished off the year with a 10th-place finish in the 10,000 (36:21.61) and a 20th-place showing in the 5000 (16:32.76) at the CAC Outdoor Championships ... Set a PR in the 10,000 while winning the race at the Dr. Jack Toms Invitational in 32:44.54 ... Recorded his fastest clocking in the 5000 (15:24.29) at the Tribe Invitational ... Helped the DMR finish fourth at the CAC Indoor Championships in 10:43.07 ... Posted his top time in the 3000 (9:02.02) at the Captains Invitational ... Had four top-five finishes during the season.

2016-17 - Junior Season:
Cross Country - Finished 41st at the CAC Championships after notching a time of 28:21.6 in the 8k … Had his top mark at the distance during the CNU Invitational after crossing in 27:37.0 … Finished 19th in the 6k at the William & Mary Invitational with a 20:56.1 clocking … Also took part in the Don Cathcart Invitational and finished 40th in 28:03.0.
Track & Field - Came in eighth in the 5000 during the CAC Indoor Championships after finishing in 15:42.39 … Returned for an 11th-place showing in the outdoor event at the league meet with a 15:42.66 clocking … Had a PR in the event during the Tribe Invitational after finishing in 15:38.98 … Took part in the 1500 as well and had his top clocking of 4:10.95 during the New Captains Classic.

2015-16 - Sophomore Season:
Cross Country - Finished 27th at the CAC Championships with a season-best time of 26:36 in the 8k … Registered his top finish of the year during the CNU Invitational after crossing the line in 18th in 27:23 … Also competed in the William & Mary and Panorama Farms Invitationals.
Track & Field - Came in 11th in the 3000 during the CAC Indoor Championships with a time of 9:13.12 … Added a season-best time in the event during the Last Chance Meet with a 9:11.43 mark … Placed 23rd at the CAC Outdoor Championships in the 5000 with a time of 16:36.68 … Posted his top effort in the discipline during the New Captains Classic after finishing in 15:50.81 … Competed in the steeplechase during the outdoor season as well.

2014-15 - Freshman Season:
Cross Country - Competed in the CNU Invitational and came in fourth during the 3k … Completed the event in 10:26.0.

Track & Field - Ran the mile during the CNU Holiday Open and Vince Brown Invitational, posting a season-best time of 4:43.29 during the former competition … Also competed in the 800 during the Vince Brown Invitational and posted a 16th-place effort in the 1500 during the Tribe Invitational after completing the event in 4:28.54.

At Broad Run - Starred as a member of the cross country and track & field teams for the Spartans … Perennial All-District selection for his efforts on the 4x800-relay … Also collected All-District nods in the 800 as a junior and the 1600 as a senior … Named to the All-Region squad in the 1600 during the 2014 campaign as well … Earned All-District honors in cross country in 2012 and 2013 … Named the Team MVP of the cross country squad in 2012 and the track & field team in 2014.
 
Personal - Dane Christopher Boegner is the son of Derrick and Tracye Boegner … Has a younger sister, Kaitlyn … Enjoys snowboarding and playing FIFA in his spare time … His favorite movie is “Starsky and Hutch” … His goal in life is to make a positive impact on society … His dream vacation would be heli-skiing in Alaska.
