2008 - Junior Year - Appeared in six games, including two starts...Had wins over N.C. Wesleyan, Mary Baldwin, Ferrum and Meredith...Went five shutout innings in the Meredith contest, allowing just two hits and 5.1 versus Mary Baldwin with just one hit...Also 4.2 versus Ferrum with just one earned run. 
2007 - Sophomore Year - Made nine appearances, including five starts...Had wins over Polytechnic, Allegheny and Mary Baldwin... In the Allegheny game she went six innings, allowing just three hits and no runs.
AT ALMA COLLEGE 2006 - Freshman Year - Played in 13 games in her freshman season...Had three hits, including a double and two RBIs...Also pitched 1.2 innings allowing no hits or runs, striking out two with one walk...Had one save. 
AT PERRYSBURG - Earned first team all-Northern Lakes League honors once and second team once...Was on the senior all-academic team...Played for coach M. Arquette...Also played volleyball. 
PERSONAL - Sarah Ann Tipton was born Oct. 2, 1986 in New London, Conn...She’s majoring in Chemistry and is the daughter of Carl and Anita Tipton...Has a sister Andrea, 25...Previously attended Alma College.
