2009 - Junior Year - Although she became a starting pitcher,
she posted two saves which made her the all-time career leader
in Division III history with 22...Second team all-region, first team
all-Virginia Division II-III and first team all-USA South...Also on the
conference all-tournament team...Had one complete game shutout
and shared three others...Limited Shenandoah to one unearned run
in a victory over the Hornets in the USA South championship game.

2008 - Sophomore Year - Became the co-leader all-time in Division
III saves when her six during the 2008 season gave her a career
total of 20...Collected her saves against Salisbury, Mary Baldwin,
N.C. Wesleyan, Ferrum and Methodist twice...Also had wins
over Bridgewater, Mary Washington, Ferrum and Averett...Started
the Mary Washington game, going five innings with no earned runs
and just two hits...Also went four innings in relief against Emory in
the NCAA Regionals, limiting the Eagles to one run.

2007 - Freshman Year - Her freshman season was a recordsetting
one as she broke the NCAA Division III national record
for saves with 14 and equalled the all-division mark...She starts
her sophomore year just two off the Division III career mark...She
is also only two short of the entire total of saves in all of CNU’s
previous years combined...Made 31 appearances and allowed runs
in only six of them...Had a high of four strikeouts against Virginia
Wesleyan and three versus Peace.

AT VARINA - Earned all-Capital District honors all four of her
years playing for coach Randall Clary...She was a first team choice
as both a sophomore and senior, second team in her junior year, and third team as a freshman...Was the team’s Defensive Player of the Year once...Also an all-district volleyball player...A member of Quill and Scroll, the yearbook committee and SADD.

PERSONAL - Kristen M. Rowe was born Jan. 20, 1988 in Richmond,
Va...The daughter of Dewayne and Barbara Rowe is a Sociology major...She has a brother Ryan, 24 and a sister Candace, 29.
