Biography

2020 - Junior Season - Started five games at catcher during her third year with the Captains … Remained one of the league’s top defensive backstops while finishing with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage … Successfully converted all 30 of her chances, including four assists … Had a season-high six putouts and two assists in the opener at Roanoke on February 22, including a nifty 2-3-2 double play that ended a threat in the second inning … Also had three putouts in a nationally-ranked showdown with No. 5 Illinois Wesleyan in the season finale on March 7 … Helped out on the offensive end as well with a single and sacrifice fly during a win over Arcadia on February 28 … Finished the year with 12 total at bats … Added Academic All-Conference honors for her work off the field as well.

2019 - Sophomore Season - Appeared in 26 games and earned 15 starts during her second year with the Captains ... Started 11 games behind the plate and compiled a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage as a catcher ... Gunned down a pair of would-be base stealers against Southern Virginia on March 30 and Randolph-Macon on May 18 ... Had a season-high 11 putouts against York (Pa.) on April 14 ... Stepped in and made four starts in rightfield during the early part of the season ... Made an impact at the plate as well, including a 3-for-4 performance at Mary Washington on April 20 ... Also scored three times and knocked in a run during that game ... Came back with two hits and a pair of runs scored against Salisbury during the CAC Tournament on April 27 ... Also scored runs in victories over Frostburg State on April 28 and Mary Washington on May 4 during the conference playoffs ... Continued her postseason stretch with a single, walk, and run scored during the NCAA Super Regionals against Randolph-Macon on May 18 ... Showed impressive patience at the plate while drawing five walks during conference action, which ranked sixth in the CAC ... Finished the year with a .321 on-base percentage in 44 total at-bats.

2018 - Freshman Season - Flashed impressive power during a strong freshman campaign … Appeared in 33 games and earned 25 starts, including 22 behind the plate … Posted an .800 slugging percentage, which ranked as the fifth-highest single-season mark in program history … Placed fifth in the CAC with seven home runs and ninth with 17 extra-base hits … Also ranked eighth in the conference with 15 walks … Finished the season with a .373 batting average and ranked third on the squad with a .495 on-base percentage … Had a breakout showcase with two home runs, a triple, and four RBI against No. 13 East Texas Baptist on March 4 … Her 11 total bases against the Tigers equaled the second-highest single-game total in program history … Had at least two hits in seven of her appearances, including three straight from March 2-3 … Went 5-for-7 with five RBI during a doubleheader against Rochester and George Fox to cap off that run on March 3 … Smacked her first career home run in just her second collegiate appearance against Davis & Elkins on February 24 … Roped four doubles during postseason action, including one in both games of the CAC Championship doubleheader against Salisbury on May 5 … Also had two during the NCAA Regionals and reached base safely in three of the team’s four games during the national postseason … Knocked in at least two runs in eight of her outings and scored twice on four occasions … Reached base safely in nine straight appearances from March 2-24, which included games against four nationally-ranked opponents and a home run in a victory over No. 23 Emory on March 15 … Compiled a .984 fielding percentage in 122 chances at catcher … Had a season-high 10 putouts against William Peace on April 5 and gunned down would-be base stealers against Randolph-Macon on February 20 and No. 1 Virginia Wesleyan on May 13.

At Riverbend - Starred as a member of the softball team with the Bears … Saw time as a second baseman as a freshman before transitioning to catcher for her final three campaigns … Was a perennial All-Conference selection for her work on the diamond … Collected All-Area nods throughout her career and was a first-team pick during her last two seasons … Also helped lead Riverbend to a conference championship as a junior and a district title as a freshman.
