2021 - Junior Season - Hauled in first-team All-Conference and All-State accolades while picking up third-team All-Region nods … Led the Captains and ranked third in the conference with a .383 batting average … Also slotted second in the league with 44 hits and third with 23 walks … Paced the squad with 15 multi-hit contests, including a 3-for-3 effort in the championship game of the Coast-to-Coast Conference Tournament against Salisbury on May 8 … Posted a season-best 10-game hitting streak from April 17 through May 21, which included a pair of two-hit outings against Mary Washington during the conference playoffs … Registered a .474 batting average during the team’s six postseason games, including a base hit against Emmanuel in the NCAA Regionals on May 21 … Was equally effective during the regular season, including four multi-hit efforts in her first six appearances of the year … Had three hits in a win over Averett on March 9 … Reached base safely in all four of her plate appearances against Pfeiffer on March 7 … Drew a walk in eight of her nine outings from April 6-24 … Launched a home run at Salisbury on April 17 … Tied for the league-lead with six sacrifice bunts during the year, including two in the NCAA Regionals against No. 1 Texas Lutheran on May 22 … Swiped three bags during the season, including one in a victory over No. 2 Virginia Wesleyan on March 17 … Started 40 games in leftfield and finished the year with a .977 fielding percentage after converting 43 of her 44 chances during the season … Had a season-high five putouts against Salisbury on March 6 … Brought home Academic All-Conference honors for the third straight year after excelling in the classroom as well.
