2017 - Junior Season - Competed in 41 games and earned nine starts during her first year with the Captains … Saw extensive time as the team’s top pinch runner … Starred on the base paths, finishing the season with 10 stolen bases … Swiped a pair of bags in the squad’s series against No. 8 Emory from March 4-5 … Starred in the postseason with four stolen bases during the squad’s playoff run … Stole a pair of bags during the CAC Tournament before adding two more during the NCAA Regionals, including one in the squad’s victory over Neumann on May 14 … Also scored two runs during the national playoffs … Crossed the plate twice and had two hits against Richard Bland on March 28 … Had one hit in both ends of a doubleheader against Greensboro and Piedmont on February 25 … Came through with her final base hit of the season at Southern Virginia on April 14 … Earned five straight starts from March 28 - April 2 … Came through with six putouts during the season and recorded an outfield assist after gunning down a runner at second base against York (Pa.) on April 1.
 
2016 - Sophomore Season (at Richard Bland) - Secured second-team All-Conference accolades for her work with the Statesmen ... Appeared in 32 games as an outfielder … Posted a .361 batting average after roping 22 hits in 61 at bats … Was flawless on the base paths after going seven-for-seven on stolen base attempts … Had four multi-hit outings during the year, including three-hit efforts against Chipola on January 31 and Patrick Henry on May 7 … Scored 14 runs and knocked in 10 during the season … Honored with a spot on the VaSID Academic All-State team for her work in the classroom as well.
 
2015 - Freshman Season (at Richard Bland) - Made her collegiate debut while appearing in 23 games during her first season at Richard Bland … Roped 11 hits and drew eight walks while posting a .364 on-base percentage … Excelled on the bases and stole 14 bags, including five against Southern Maryland on April 19 … Also swiped three bases and scored a pair of runs at Wake Technical College on April 6 … Finished the year with 15 runs scored and seven RBI … Received the team’s Coaches Award for her efforts.
 
At Menchville - Was a multi-sport standout with the Monarchs … Earned two varsity letters as a member of the softball team and played three years of field hockey … Received the Monarch Award as a senior for her work in both sports.
 
Personal - Abigail Rose Eichelberger is the daughter of Kevin and Margaret Eichelberger … She has an older brother, Evin … Her dream vacation would be a trip to Costa Rica … “Fool’s Gold” is her favorite movie, and “Training Camp” by Jon Gordon is her favorite book … Luke Bryan is her favorite musician … Majoring in Studio Art.
