2021 - Senior Season - Received the YRL Unsung Hero Award, which is bestowed upon six student-athletes from around the nation that made a meaningful impact on their team and in the community … Became the first Captain to earn the prestigious honor … Took part in seven games during the year while compiling a 5.99 goals-against-average … Also had an impressive .667 save percentage … Registered three saves at Randolph-Macon on March 17 after having a pair in back-to-back appearances at Roanoke on March 6 and Washington (Md.) on March 13 … Came back with a save and ground ball during 15 minutes of work in a nationally-ranked showdown at No. 2 Salisbury on April 3 … Saw time in wins against Southern Virginia on March 3, Roanoke on March 6, and St. Mary’s (Md.) on May 1 as well … Wrapped up the season with eight total stops in 40 minutes of action … Also added three ground balls, including two in the win at Washington (Md.) … Finished his career with a .708 save percentage, which marked the highest in program history for a player with a least 10 appearances.

2020 - Junior Season - Continued to serve as a backup goalkeeper during his third season in Newport News.
 

2019 - Sophomore Season - Appeared in four games as a goalie during his second year at CNU ... Saw a season-high eight minutes of action while making four saves at Catholic on March 15 ... Also collected a ground ball during the non-league win over the Cardinals ... Added a save during the team's nationally-ranked victory against No. 12 Roanoke on February 27 ... Wrapped up the year with a save and ground ball in the first round of the CAC Tournament against Mary Washington on April 27 ... Made a flawless appearance during a league bout against St. Mary's (Md.) on April 17 as well ... Finished the year with six total saves and a .667 save percentage in 18:36 minutes of action.
 

2018 - Freshman Season - Served in a reserve role during his first year with the Captains ... Appeared in two games in the crease while compiling 13 minutes of action ... Made three saves in his final outing at Wesley on April 21 ... Also chipped in with a pristine effort in his collegiate debut at Virginia Wesleyan on March 21 ... Did not allow a goal during his time between the pipes.

At Paul VI Catholic - Competed on the lacrosse team for four years with the Panthers … Served as a goalkeeper on the varsity team during his final three campaigns … Also saw time between the pipes as a freshman on the JV squad ... Excelled on the hockey team for four years as well.
 
Personal - Thomas Herbert Brackett is the son of Larry and Kathleen Brackett … Has a twin sister, Sandra, who competes in soccer at Radford … Also has a younger brother, Jack, who plays hockey at RPI … His great uncle, Larry Kopf, won a World Series with the 1919 Cincinnati Reds, and his great grandfather, Herb Kopf, was the first freshman to play in the Rose Bowl and letter became an NFL head coach ... Conor McGregor is his favorite athlete … A trip to Bora Bora would be his dream vacation … “Miracle” is his favorite movie, and "The Office" is his favorite TV show ... Drake is his favorite musician … Majoring in information science.
