2012 - Freshman Season - Saw action in 10 games during his first campaign in Newport News ... Posted his first career ground ball against Randolph on February 19 and added another one at Goucher on April 7 ... Caused a turnover against Emmanuel on March 10 before forcing another one at Goucher.
 
At Stonewall Jackson - A first team All-District and first team All-Region selection his senior year...Played four years for coach Anthony LePore...District champs his senior year.

Personal - Matt Julian Stettler was born on October 5, 1992 in Kentucky...He is the son of Christopher and Shari Stettler and has two brothers, Zach and Michael...Brother Zach also attends CNU...Has not yet decided on a major...Snowboarding in Europe is his dream vacation.
