Biography

2012 - Junior Season - Appeared in 14 games and made six starts during his third season with the Captains ... Tallied five goals during the year, including one in each of his first four games ... Came through with a two-point effort against St. Vincent on May 7 and notching a goal and an assist ... Also added a helper against Virginia Wesleyan on April 4 before capping off his offensive exploits with a goal against Ferrum on April 21.
 
2011 - Sophomore Season - Saw action in four games after an injury sidelined him for much of the season...Scored three goals and had the game winner against Ferrum...Added five ground balls and two caused turnovers...

2010 - Freshman Season - Played in all 16 of CNU’s games and started in eight…Scored goals in the games against Hood, Guilford, Marymount, Randolph, Greensboro, and Hendrix with a season total of seven…Had 10 assists which ranked second on the team…Picked up five ground balls against Guilford , and three in the Hood, Lynchburg, Greensboro and Marymount games with a season total of 24...

At Western Albemarle - A second team all-region choice in his senior year and first team all-Jefferson District that year...Honorable mention All-District as a sophomore and team MVP his final year... Played for coaches Hunter Price and Brad Haws...A member of the National Honor Society.

Personal - Jacob Thomas Myers was born Feb. 14, 1991 in Harrisonburg, Va...He is majoring in Biology and is the son of Jeff and Audrey Myers...Has a younger brother, Aaron...Hopes to one day teach High School Biology and coach lacrosse.
