2013 - Junior Season - Made his lone appearance of the year during the regular season finale at Ferrum on April 20 ... Earned the start and played every minute during the crucial 6-5 overtime victory against the Panthers ... Came through with a career-high 11 saves ... Picked up the victory for his efforts, which helped lift the Captains into the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.

2012 - Sophomore Season - Appeared in four games and made a start at Lynchburg on April 11 ... Made a season-high nine saves against the Hornets and also secured one of his two ground balls during the game ... Posted five saves in 30-minutes of action at Goucher on April 7 ... Stoned both shots he faced in a 20-1 victory over Emmanuel on March 10.

2011 - Freshman Season - Saw action against Randolph College and Kenyon...Made 13 saves and allowed only three goals...Had an .812 save percentage and a 4.00 goals-against-average.

At Smithtown West - Played four years of varsity lacrosse for coach Sean Keernan…Was a starter for two years and posted a .590 save percentage.

Personal - Dominic Thomas Gianino was born on July 14, 1992 in Wantaugh, N.Y….He is the son of Carl and Linda Gianino…Has one brother Vincent…History major.
