Robert Simmons begins his third year as a team manager with the Captains in 2022.
 
A business major at Christopher Newport, Simmons arrived on campus following a four-year stint as a member of the lacrosse team at Brentsville District High School. During his time with the Tigers, he saw action as a goalie and midfielder. In addition to his efforts in lacrosse, he was also a three-year member of the cross country squad.
 
A native of Gainesville, Virginia, Robert is the son of John and Susan Simmons. He also has two sisters, Olivia and Rachel. Olivia played soccer at West Virginia Wesleyan.
