Aaron Chrzaszcz

  • Title
    Assistant Coach
Aaron Chrzaszcz has been a familiar face around the Christopher Newport men’s lacrosse program since 2011 after spending four years as a starter on the squad before transitioning to the sidelines as an assistant coach in 2015.

Since joining the coaching staff, Chrzaszcz has helped the program reach new heights. Since 2015, CNU has compiled a 50-21 record, including a program-best 15-5 mark last year. During that time, the Captains have climbed as high as 15th in the USILA National Coaches Poll and picked up the program’s first-ever victory in the NCAA Tournament while advancing to the third round of the 2018 playoffs.

Prior to joining the coaching ranks, Chrzaszcz was an offensive force for the Captains from 2011-14. During his career, he peppered opponents with 52 goals, which placed him fourth on the program’s all-time charts at the time of his graduation. He also contributed 23 assists and 43 ground balls in 60 career appearances.

In addition to his individual accomplishments, he was also a starter on the 2013 squad, which became the first team in program history to qualify for the NCAA Tournament.
