2025 - Senior Season - Alger concluded a tremendously successful career with the Captains by having her jersey #6 retired by Head Coach Keith Parr...became the first pitcher in school history to record 500 career strikeouts...named first team All-Conference by the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference...was voted second team All-Region by the NFCA...compiled a record of 17-2 this season with an earned run average of 1.36...made 22 appearances in the circle with 19 starts...struck out 115 batters in 113.1 innings pitched while walking just 21...threw ten complete games and four shutouts...held opponents to a .182 batting average...recorded her 5th career no-hitter vs. NYU...was selected the conference Pitcher of the Week three times.

2024 - Junior Season - Compiled a third consecutive remarkable season in the circle for the Captains...won 16 games for the second consecutive year, and lost just five while recording an earned run average of 1.79...started 21 games and also appeared in relief twice, earning one save...pitched 136.2 innings and registered 14 complete games...Struck out 148 batters while walking just 31...Alger logged four shutouts and held opponents to a .195 batting average...was selected first team All-Conference in the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference...named C2C Pitcher of the Week three times, and National Pitcher of the Week once...chosen for the NCAA Regional All-Tournament team for her two victories and 22 strikeouts over 14 innings of work...named to the C2C's All-Tournament team after pitching all ten innings in a CNU triumph over Salisbury in the Championship game...tossed a five inning no-hitter vs. Marymount on March 10th, striking out six and allowing just one hit batter to reach base...matched her career-best with a 14 strikeout performance vs. John Jay on May 16th at Captains Park in the NCAA Regional won by the Captains...reeled off nine straight victories from April 7th to May 18th, improving her record from 7-4 to 16-4...struck out ten or more batters four times.

2023 - Sophomore Season - Continued her amazing success following a fantastic freshman campaign ... posted a 16-6 record and a 1.31 earned run average ... Named first team All-Conference and first team All-State as well as second team All-Region ... struck out 185 batters in 154.2 innings pitched, while allowing just 35 walks ... the 185 strikeouts was second-most in school history in a season ... Named Pitcher of the Week in the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference three times ... Alger's outstanding season included a perfect game, the eighth in team history, thrown against Roanoke in the NCAA Regionals...threw a no-hitter on March 5 vs. Bethany in Grand Slam Triangle Classic in Raleigh, N.C., allowing just one runner on a game-opening error, and facing just 21 batters due to a double play ... also threw a five-inning no-hitter on April 23 at Captains Park vs. Averett ... recorded a season-high 14 strikeouts in shutout victory over Husson at Captains Park on March 17 in Cross Bay Bash...made 29 appearances and 22 starts ... Saved three games in addition to her 16 victories ... recorded 20 complete games and seven shutouts ... pitched in six NCAA games, including two complete-game victories over Virginia Wesleyan in Super Regional action at Captains Park ... Named Most Outstanding Pitcher of the Super Regional ... allowed just one earned run in complete game loss to Berry in NCAA Nationals in Texas.

2022 - Freshman Season - Made a seamless transition to college while immediately establishing herself as one of the nation's top up-and-coming pitchers ... Ranked seventh in the NCAA - and first among freshmen - with a 0.97 ERA ... Hauled in second-team All-Conference and All-State accolades for her efforts ... Led the league in ERA and batting-average-against (.167) ... Both of those marks also placed her in the top-five in program history ... Averaged 9.01 strikeouts-per-game, which marked the second-highest rate by a Captain ... Named to the NCAA All-Championship Team and helped the Captains secure the program's first national title after compiling a 2.92 ERA while registering two wins and 13 strikeouts in 12 innings of work during the College World Series ... Finished the year with a perfect 15-0 record while recording 112 strikeouts in 87 innings ... Tossed five shutouts, including a one-hit, 11-strikeout gem against No. 19 Trine in her second collegiate appearance on March 4 ... Added 11 more strikeouts against Kean on March 11 ... Scattered five hits and a run over eight innings of work against No. 9 Virginia Wesleyan on May 20, which polished off a sweep of the Marlins in the NCAA Super Regionals ... Pieced together a run of four straight scoreless starts between March 27 and April 16 ... Allowed just one total run in her nine appearances from March 4-19 ... Honored as the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week on March 14 and April 4 ... Struck out at least five batters in 12 of her outings, including nine in back-to-back games against Averett on March 27 and Greensboro on April 3 ... Established new program records for ERA and batting-average-against by a freshman, while her 112 strikeouts marked the second-highest total by a first-year competitor.

At Buffalo Gap - Was a dominant performer on the softball team during her time with the Bison … Secured first-team All-District and All-Region honors while being celebrated as the Player of the Year during her senior campaign … Also hauled in second-team All-District nods as a freshman and sophomore … Served as a team captain … Helped guide the squad to the 2019 district championship and 2021 regional title … Competed in basketball and volleyball as well.
