HENRY ADAMS joined the staff of John Krikorian at Christopher Newport prior to the start of the 2025-26 season, and brings outstanding experience and a strong player-development background to the Captains’ staff. He has had successful coaching stops at Northwestern, Miami, DePaul, Dominican University, and Nazareth Academy.

Adams specialized in film analysis, scouting, player development, and daily operations while assisting with two nationally ranked recruiting classes. Adams previously worked two seasons at the University of Miami, contributing to the Hurricanes’ first Elite Eight run, a 26-win season, and NCAA Tournament wins over Auburn, USC, and Iowa State. He oversaw video operations, supported recruiting evaluation, and coordinated team logistics.
A native of Downers Grove, Illinois, Adams holds a Master’s in Sports Administration from Northwestern and a Bachelor’s in Communications from Miami.
