2008 - Junior Year - Named second team all-USA South after a year which saw her go 9-1 with a 2.55 ERA...Pitched a two-hit shutout against N.C. Wesleyan and went four shutout innings versus Salisbury, Meredith and Emory, the latter in the NCAA Regionals... Had a high of seven strikeouts in a game with Hunter and added six against Mary Baldwin...Had a win in the USA South Tournament over Methodist...On the USA South all-academic team.
2007 - Sophomore Year - A major factor in CNU’s bullpen, hurling22.1 innings with a 1.57 ERA...Pitched five innings, allowing just two hits and striking out six in her only start, against Polytechnic... Also had three hitless, shutout innings versus Mary Baldwin, with two strikeouts and two perfect innings in a game with Chowan...On the USA South all-academic team.
2006 - Freshman Year - Became one of CNU’s two starting pitchers in her freshman year...Led the Lady Captains with 12 victories and was named honorable mention all-USA South...Tossed a one hitter against Averett with seven strikeouts and limited Washington (Md.) to three hits and one run with seven strikeouts...Had a season-high eight Ks in an eight-inning win over Guilford.
AT LAKELAND - Earned second team All-Southeastern District honors twice playing for coach Lori White...Also team captain as a junior and senior...Also an all-region and all-district field hockey player...An honors graduate and member of Beta...Helped coach youth field hockey.
PERSONAL - Lindsay Nicole Kelly was born April 29, 1987 in Suffolk, Va...She is the daughter of Bucky and Linda Kelly and is majoring in Sociology/Elementary Education...She has a brother Brandon, 25...She also played field hockey at CNU as a freshman, scoring four goals.
