TY CRABB has joined the coaching staff of Christopher Newport for the 2023 season as an assistant coach working with the cornerbacks.

Crabb, a quarterback, spent his first two collegiate seasons at Stevenson University before transferring to CNU for his final three years of eligibility. He appeared in one of two games during the shortened spring season of 2020 for the Captains, and then saw action in five games during the 2021 campaign.

Last year, Crabb played in nine of ten games for the Captains, and showed his versatility by rushing the ball four times as well as returning three kicks.

Crabb is a native of Burke, Va., and a graduate of Lake Braddock High School.
