Christopher Newport fans will recognize Scott Fahey on the CNU sideline. Fahey, who anchored the Captains offensive line at the center spot for four seasons, joined the staff of Art Link in 2017. He works primarily with outside linebackers.
Fahey, a product of Chesapeake, graduated from Christopher Newport last December with a Bachelor of Arts in history. His offensive line play earned conference and state honors, and Fahey started 42 straight games for the Captains from 2013-2016.
Fahey was selected second team All-Conference in the NJAC for the second straight season in 2016. He was a first team pick in 2014, and also picked up all-state recognition his sophomore and junior seasons.
