DAN ANTOLIK returned to the Christopher Newport University coaching staff for the 2022 season, re-joining the program he was a key part of from the squad's inception in 2001. He works primarily with the offensive line under one of his top offensive linemen, CNU Head Coach Paul Crowley.

Antolik first came to CNU in 2000 during the organization of the newly-announced program to assist Head Coach Matt Kelchner with many of the details of starting a new team. He would enjoy a lengthy run with Kelchner, serving as Offensive Coordinator for the first 16 seasons of CNU football history.

The amazing success of CNU's rushing game over the 16-year span from 2001-2015 is directly attributable to the great blocking provided by Antolik's offensive line. His hard work with the line was visible since day one, and the Captains featured highly-productive rushing games year in and year out. .

Antolik had previously been a highly-successful head coach at Lafayette High School in Williamsburg, Va. before coming to CNU. During his tenure, Lafayette went 42-8 beginning in 1997 and advanced to the playoffs each season. His Lafayette squads won three district titles and in 1998 went to the Virginia State Championship.

Antolik's coaching resume also includes stops at Hampton University, Bridgewater College, St. Paul's College and Salem College. He is a graduate of Fort Lewis College in Colorado with a Master's Degree from Adams State College, also in Colorado.

He and his wife, Jackie, reside in Williamsburg.
