Biography

2012 - Freshman Season - Appeared in 11 games during her first year with the Captains … Saw action in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against Gwynedd-Mercy on November 7 and helped the squad register an 8-2 victory … Took part in the team’s nationally-ranked win over No. 19 Lynchburg on September 30 … Made her collegiate debut at Centre on September 2 … Guided the team to a perfect 11-0 record in her appearances … Also competed on the women’s lacrosse team in the spring and helped the Captains advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.

At Trinity Episcopal - Competed in field hockey and lacrosse for four years … Was a two-time member of the All-Region and All-League lacrosse teams for her efforts … Also earned All-League honors for her performance as a defender in field hockey as well … Named to the WDNT Lacrosse National Team … Three-time USL All-Star honoree as well .

Personal - Nina Stinson is the daughter of Buck and Beth Stinson…Has a younger sister, Miranda…Has volunteered at the Anna Julia Cooper School … Her dream vacation is a backpacking expedition across Europe … “The Help” is her favorite book, while “Bridesmaids” is her favorite movie … Aspires to be a coach, geologist, or sociologist … Majoring in sociology at CNU.
