Biography

2009 - Senior Season - Capped off her career with a fitting punctuation mark while starting all 20 games … Ranked second on the team with seven goals and third with 17 points … Became just the second Captain in school history to record a game-winning goal in three straight contests after capping off victories against Mary Washington on September 30, Eastern Mennonite on October 4, and Bridgewater on October 7 … Earned a spot on the WomensFieldHockey.com National Weekly Honor Roll in the middle of that run ... Came through with three points in triumphs over Washington (Md.) on September 6 and Johns Hopkins on October 24 … Opened the year with an assist against Sweet Briar on September 1 … Also found the back of the cage with a dart in a win over St. Mary’s (Md.) on October 17 … Finished the season with 47 shots, including eight at Stevenson on October 10 … Graduated as the program’s fifth all-time leading scorer with 27 total goals.
 
2008 - Junior Season - Rebounded from a rash of injuries during her previous two campaigns with an excellent junior season … Took part in 19 games and earned 14 starts, including the final seven contests of the year … Contributed 13 points after registering five goals and three assists … Notched a point in four straight outings from October 26 - November 12, including an assist in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to cap off that stretch at No. 10 Johns Hopkins … Scored a goal in back-to-back appearances against McDaniel on September 20 and Virginia Wesleyan on September 24 … Had a key strike in a nationally-ranked showdown with No. 5 Ursinus on October 13 … Collected her first point of the season with an assist against Morrisville State on August 31 … Finished the season with 37 shots and put 26 on cage.
 
2007 - Sophomore Season - Showed impressive resolve while battling back from another injury that sidelined her for a month during the middle of the year … Saw action in nine games, including a start in the opener at Davidson on September 1 … Made a triumphant return following a knee injury with goals in back-to-back outings in October … Deposited her first strike with the game-winning tally against Bridgewater on October 13 … Added another dagger against Washington & Lee on October 21 … Finished the year with nine total shots, including five on cage.
 
2006 - Sophomore Season - Earned a medical redshirt after sustaining a knee injury in the second game of the year … Started the first two contests and handed out an assist during a battle at top-ranked Salisbury on September 6.
 
2005 - Freshman Season - Put together one of the finest debut campaigns in program history while leading the team with 13 goals and 29 total points … Both of those totals also established new single-season freshman records at CNU … Earned second-team All-State accolades for her work … Kicked off her career with two goals and an assist in the season opener against Catawba on September 3 … Her five points marked the most by a Captain in her collegiate debut … Also had two strikes in back-to-back bouts against Mary Washington on October 2 and Shenandoah on October 11 … Had at least one point in eight straight appearances from September 11 - October 11, which marked the longest streak in program history … Scored the game-winning goal against Washington & Lee on October 2 after assisting on the clincher against Frostburg State on October 1 … Named the National Rookie of the Week by WomensFieldHockey.com on October 3 for that run … Scored a goal in four straight appearances from September 11-28 … Also had three points in a bout at Roanoke on October 16 and posted her final dagger of the year against Villa Julie on October 22 … Finished the season with four game-winning goals, which equaled the second-highest total by a Captain and the most by a freshman … Posted 65 shots and had 47 on-target attempts.
 
At Stafford - Played four years for coach Woodie while leading her team to a district championship and a third-place finish in the state tournament … Earned first-team All-District, All-Region, and All-State accolades as a senior … Also was celebrated as the Regional and District Player of the Year … Picked up honorable All-Area nods and was named the Team MVP as well … Also competed in basketball and softball while graduating with honors.
