2021 - Sophomore Season - Found a role as one of the team’s top reserves during her second year in Newport News … Saw action in 14 games, including both postseason tilts … Played 25 total minutes in the Coast-to-Coast Conference Championship against Salisbury on November 6 … Also saw time in the first half of the squad’s battle against Centre in the NCAA Tournament on November 10 … Scored her first collegiate goal with a rocket against Catholic on September 15 … Finished the season with six shots, including five on-target attempts … Played 220 total minutes during the year, including a season-high 48 in a win over Sewanee on October 17 … Also eclipsed 30 minutes at Eastern Mennonite on October 3 … Took part in a pair of nationally-ranked showdowns against No. 10 Kean on September 5 and No. 2 Johns Hopkins on September 18 … Saw at least 10 minutes of work in six of her appearances.
 
2020 - Freshman Season - Took part in the spring exhibition season during her first year at Christopher Newport ... Did not compete in the fall following a decision by the NCAA and Capital Athletic Conference to suspend athletic competitions due to the COVID-19 pandemic ... Also was a member of the track & field team ... Placed third in the pole vault during the Coast-to-Coast Conference Outdoor Championships while helping the Captains claim the team title ... Took part in the 200, 400, and 4x400-relay during the spring as well.

At Gloucester - Pieced together a remarkable tenure as a multi-sport standout with the Dukes … Was an All-Region and All-State performer on the field hockey team … Helped guide the squad to a pair of regional titles and a state championship … Equally dominant in track & field … Won conference and regional crowns for her work in the pole vault … Also was an All-State honoree in the event … Garnered All-Region nods as a member of the 4x400-relay as well … Served as a team captain in both sports … Also spent eight years playing for the Peninsula Youth Field Hockey Association.
 
Personal - Ainsley Paige Miller is the daughter of Bradford and Jennifer Miller … Has three sisters, Bailey, Reese, and Ellary, and two brothers, Carter and Clayton … Bailey also played field hockey for the Captains during a decorated career from 2016-19 … “Friends” is her favorite TV show, and Mondo Duplantis is her favorite athlete … Aspires to be a pediatric dentist … Majoring in biology.
