Stephanie Delneky returned to her alma mater and was named assistant coach of the CNU Storm Dance Team in the fall of 2018.
Delneky graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2014 with a degree in Psychology and a double minor in Leadership and Sociology. She went on to continue her education, earning a Master’s degree in Sport Psychology.
During her time at CNU, Delneky re-founded the university’s very own hip hop dance club, Hypnotic Control, in the spring of 2012. She spent her time re-building the club from scratch, making a name for the group on campus, and pushing it to grow each year. Her main role was developing choreography, creating formations, and teaching. To this day, she continues to work with Hypnotic as part of their choreography team.
Delneky was a huge supporter of CNU Storm during her time at school. In the past, not only has she helped the girls with hip hop, but she even traveled to Daytona to cheer on the team at Nationals. This year will be her first year attending in a coaching capacity.
