2011 - JUNIOR SEASON - Started 35 games and played in 38 for CNU in his second season...First Team All-USA South at designated hitter...Hit .274 with 22 runs scored and 24 RBI...Had 16 extra-base hits, including five home runs and 11 doubles...Second on the team in HBP with 15, while also picking up 12 walks...Went 3-5 with six RBI and two HR against Ferrum College...Member of the 2011 Academic All-Conference Team

2010 - SOPHOMORE SEASON - Started 20 of 22 games played for CNU in his first year...Posted six doubles and blasted his first career home run against Shenandoah...Scored a total of 10 runs and drove in nine.

AT ALLEGHANY - Named a Louisville Slugger Pre-season All-American as a senior...An all-state selection as well as all-region twice and all-Blue Ridge District four times...District Player of the Year as a senior, Virginian Review Player of the Year twice and
all-Roanoke Timesland twice...Coach Gary Rice's team MVP twice...Played in the Virginia High School Coaches Association all-star game which was held at CNU...As a junior he hit .444 with eight home runs and 34 RBIs, then, as a senior he had a .508 batting average with nine home runs and 35 RBIs.
