2009 - Junior Year - Shared the DH duties with Ben Lenda and had a fine year at the plate, earning First Team All-USA South honors...Collected three hits each in games with Hampden-Sydney, Shenandoah and Randolph-Macon and had two hits in 12 other games...Homered against N.C. Wesleyan three times, as well as Virginia Wesleyan, Stevenson and Shenandoah...The latter two were both in NCAA Tournament games and he was named tot he All-Regional Tournament Team...

2008 - Sophomore Year - Appeared in 11 games, primarily as a pinch hitter...Started against Randolph-Macon and went 2-4 with a double and an RBI...Also had two RBI against Ferrum.

2007 - At Mount St. Mary's - Appeared in six games with six at-bats, one hit and one walk and one run scored...

At North Stafford - An All-State choice, as well as All-Region and All-Commonwealth District, playing for coaches Craig Lopez and Jim Labrusciano...Led the team in batting average, hitting .433 as a senior and .417 in his junior year...Had four home runs each year and a total of 43 RBI...A member of FBLA, the French Club and Renaissance Club...Did volunteer work at his church and at a local soup kitchen.

Personal - Michael Lawrence Romett was born Dec. 23, 1987 in Watertown, N.Y...He is majoring in Computer Engineering and is the son of Lawrence Romett and Margarett Romett-Jones...Has a brother, Larry (18) and a sister, Stephanie (21)...Previously attended Mt. St. Mary's University.
