Biography

2007 - Junior Year - Made nine relief appearances with a fine 2.16 ERA...Pitched two perfect innings against nationally-ranked Salisbury and had another one-hit, no run inning later in the season...added two more perfect innings versus Division II Virginia St.

 

2006 - Sophomore Year - Pitched a total of seven innings in four contests...Threw three innings, with two hits, one run and two strikeouts, against York and two perfect innings versus Randolph-Macon.

 

2005 - Freshman Year - Saw action twice in 2005, including a start and a victory over Alma (Mich.) during CNU's Florida trip...In that game he pitched four innings, allowing three hits and two runs...Also threw 1.2 innings in relief against Hampden-Sydney.

 

AT COLONIAL FORGE - An honorable mention all-Commonwealth District pitcher for coach Shawn Szackylheidi. Team captain as a senior. Did volunteer work at a homeless shelter.

 

PERSONAL - Josh David Hankins was born Aug. 7, 1986 in Woodbridge, Va. He is the son of Chris and Michelle Hankins and is majoring in Political Science. Has a brother Jeremy, 15.
