2009 - Junior Season - Took over the role of CNU's No. 1 starter and had an excellent season... Posted a 5-1 record and had the team's top ERA at 3.82...Was named second team all-Virginia Division II-III and honorable mention all-USA South...Got his wins over Hampden-Sydney, N.C. Wesleyan, Mary Washington, Greensboro and Washington & Jefferson, the latter coming in the NCAA South Regional... In that game he limited the Presidents to just two earned runs and five hits over seven innings...Also pitched six innings of scoreless, two-hit ball against Mary Washington and went 9.1 innings against Ferrum in the USA South tournament, allowing just one run and striking out ten.
2008 - Sophomore Year - Had victories in relief against Eastern Mennonite and North CarolinaWesleyan...Went 4.2 scoreless innings against EMU with three strikeouts and three shutout innings and with two hits and three Ks against the Bishops in the game that sent CNU into the USA South championship contest...Also went 3.2 shutout innings versus Randolph-Macon.
2007 - Freshman Year - Appeared in seven games, all in relief...Pitched hitless, shutout innings against Southern Virginia, Hampden-Sydney and Castleton St.
AT HAMPTON CHRISTIAN - Twice chosen as a first team all-state private school player...He was also a first and second team all-Metro Conference pick playing for coach Mike Moore...Was the team captain as a senior...Hit .310 and .330 in his last two years and went 9-3 and 11-3 on the mound... Graduated Magna Cum Laude...A member of the BETA Club, Principals' List and German Club.
