2008 - Freshman Season - Came up huge at the right time, filling in for the injured Parker Neal at third base during the USA South Tournament and earning all-tournament honors...Went 8-19 (421) during the tournament and was 4-8 as CNU defeated N.C. Wesleyan twice on the final day to win the title...Had two RBIs in each of those games as well as two versus Virginia Wesleyan and York (Pa.)..Also had three hits earlier in the tournament against Ferrum.

 

AT LAKE BRADDOCK - Named first team all-Patriot District at first base for coach Jody Rutherford...Also played football.

 

PERSONAL - David Grant Fennessey was born Nov. 22, 1988 in Burke, Va...He's a Criminology major and the son of Debbie & Dave Fennessey.
