Biography

1988 - SENIOR SEASON - One of CNC's best pitchers of all time...He finished with a career record of 13-16, far better than the captains' winning percentage in his four years...Holds several career records with appearances, wins, and walks...He defeated William & Mary twice in his career and Division II opponent Randolph Macon...Finished his senior campaign batting .167 and pitching 51 2/3 innings striking out 25.

1987 - JUNIOR SEASON - Started 9 games and completed 6 in compiling a 5-4 record and a 4.22 ERA. Struck out a career-high seven on three occasions, against Washington & Lee, Methodist, and Apprentice. Got his second win over William & Mary, and defeated Division II Randolph-Macon. Set the career record for complete games with 14 and wins with 10. Also the career strike out leader with 86 although not an over-powering pitcher.

1986 - SOPHOMORE SEASON - Started 11 games on the mound and completed 8 with 5-7 record and a 6.57 ERA. Scored a victory over William & Mary and struck out 6 in a complete-game win over Salisbury St. His 5 wins and 8 complete games equalled records.

1985 - FRESHMAN SEASON - A solid freshman campaign where he played outfield as well as saw spot duty pitching...Picked up a big save in CNC's victory over St. Andrews with his best effort on the mound...Had a pair of hits apiece in games against Richmond and Trenton State.

AT FERGUSON - an All-District selection at Ferguson High School where he was also named the outstanding defensive player.

Personal - Born March 12, 1966. Majoring in Management. Son of William and Barbara Blowe.
