2013 - Junior Season - Started 13 of the team’s 15 games and contributed 14 points, including nine goals ... Set new career-highs in nearly every statistical category, including points, goals, assists, ground balls, and caused turnovers ... Scored in back-to-back games at Randolph on February 23 and Randolph-Macon  on February 27 ... Continued his early season streak with goals against Frostburg State on March 17 and Whittier on March 18 ... Contributed a goal and an assist at York on March 30 before matching his career-high with three points during a 12-7 victory at Saint Vincent on April 13 ... Posted a goal and two assists during the win against the Bearcats ... Also added a helper at Greensboro on April 16 before chipping in with a goal and an assist at Ferrum on April 20 ... Capped off the season with a two-goal effort in the NCAA Tournament against Stevenson on May 8 ... Scooped up 41 ground balls during the year, including a season-best seven at Virginia Wesleyan on April 3 ... Also forced nine turnovers with two coming in the home opener against Mary Washington on March 2.

2012 - Sophomore Season - Started five games and appeared in 12 during his second year with the Captains ... Tallied his first goal of the year against Randolph on February 19 before coming through against Emmanuel on March 10 and Ithaca on March 17 ... Posted a multi-point effort against Ferrum on April 21 after notching a goal and an assist.

2011 - Freshman Season - Saw action in all 15 games, earning the start in four...Scored eight goals including three against Otterbein...Collected 30 ground balls and caused three turnovers.

At Eastport South Manor - Played all four years for coach Kevin Huff…Earned the Unsung Hero award in 2007 and 2010…Also wrestled and was on the golf team.

Personal - Adam A. Abbate was born May 9, 1992 in West Islip, N.Y….He is the son of Arthur and Benedetta Abbate...Has two sisters, Amanda and Kelly...Majoring in Marketing with a minor in psychology.
