In 26 years as head men’s basketball coach at Christopher Newport University, C.J. Woollum won 502 games, coached his teams to 17 NCAA tournaments and captured 12 conference titles. Inducted into the CNU Athletic Hall of Fame in 2007, C.J. also was selected to join the USA South Athletic Conference Hall of Fame and the Hampton Roads Sports Hall of Fame in 2012. Each of these organizations recognizes Woollum’s accomplishments on the court but also the profound impact he made on thousands of student-athletes while serving as CNU’s director of athletics.

In honor of C.J.'s lifetime dedication to building championship programs at Christopher Newport, we invite you to join us in supporting the C.J. Woollum Victory Fund. The Woollum Fund will forever support the mission of providing a championship experience for our student-athletes and will ensure that CNU’s athletic programs always compete among the nation’s very best.
