Christopher Newport University’s Sports Medicine department works in collaboration with Vincent Joseph and Rebound Chiropractic to provide the highest quality patient-centered care. CNU’s student-athletes are able to receive chiropractic services in the athletic training facility once a week or at Dr. Joseph’s office when deemed appropriate by the athletic training staff.

Meet our team chiropractor:
Vincent T. Joseph, D.C.
Dr. Vincent Joseph graduated with a degree in Biology from the University of Minnesota in 1980. He received a second degree in Human Biology and his D.C. degree from Northwestern University of Health Sciences in 1986. He has additional certifications in sports medicine, manipulation under anesthesia and a Diplomate in Acupuncture. In 2011, Dr. Joseph was awarded Diplomate of the College of Manipulative and Body-Based Practices.
He served as Associate Professor at CNU in 1988. From 1990 – 1998 he served on City Council for Newport News. In 2006 he was awarded International Chiropractor of the year by The Masters Circle. Dr. Joseph has authored 3 books on health care and serves on numerous community based charitable organizations.
Dr. Joseph is pleased to be a part of the Support Team for CNU. He is dedicated to the well being of student athletes among others.
