2020-21 - Senior Season:
Cross Country - Did not compete in the fall following a decision by the NCAA and Capital Athletic Conference to suspend athletic competitions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Track & Field - Established a new PR in the 5000 during the Colonial Relays after finishing in 18:43.15 … That marked the fifth-fastest time in the conference during the spring season … Eventually placed sixth in the league in the 1500 (5:05.40) and eighth in the 5000 (19:45.75) during the Coast-to-Coast Conference Outdoor Championships … Was the runner-up in the 800 during the UMW Opener with a time of 2:32.64 … Placed third in the 1500 at the Blue & Silver Challenge as well … Had eight top-10 finishes during the year, including a pair at the Salisbury Spring Meet.
 
2019-20 - Junior Season:
Cross Country - Helped the Captains claim the CAC Championship after finishing 18th overall at the title meet … Completed the 6k in 26:33.9 during the league competition … Came back with an 84th-place effort at the NCAA South / Southeast Regionals with a time of 24:12.3 … Posted a season-best time in the 6k (24:04.7) at the Paul Short Run … Also completed that distance during the Connecticut College Invitational … Finished the 5k in 21:14.1 at the William & Mary Invitational, which placed her 18th in the field.
Track & Field - Finished eighth at the CAC Indoor Championships in both the 3000 (11:04.69) and 5000 (19:22.94) … Added her fastest time in the mile at the CNU Holiday Open after completing the race in 5:43.40, which placed her seventh overall … Came in second in the 3000 (11:13.59) at the Captains Invitational and fourth in the 5000 (19:57.52) at the Vince Brown Invitational … Placed in the top-10 in six of her eight races during the winter season.

2018-19 - Sophomore Season:
Cross Country - Finished 30th at the CAC Championships after crossing the line in 26:11.5 … Had her fastest time over that distance during the Paul Short Run with a 24:50.0 clocking … Capped off the year by placing 60th at the South / Southeast Regional Championships … Finished 12th in the 4k at the Mary Washington Opener with a time of 16:15.8 … Also competed in the KollegeTown Pre-Nationals and registered a 25:18.2 mark.
Track & Field - Starred at the CAC Indoor Championships with three top-10 efforts … Finished third in the 4x400-relay, fourth in the mile, and seventh in the 800 … Came back at the Outdoor Championships with a seventh-place showing in the 1500 and a 10th-place performance in the 800 … Recorded her fastest 800 time at the Blue & Silver Challenge (2:23.54) and completed the mile in a season-best 5:24.81 at the Captains Invitational … Had her finest 1500 clocking of the year at the prestigious Colonial Relays after completing the race in 4:54.88 … Tallied 10 top-five finishes during the season, including a pair during the Captains Invitational, Blue & Silver Challenge, and New Captains Classic.

2017-18 - Freshman Season:
Cross Country - Placed 55th in the 6k during the CAC Championships after crossing the line in 27:07.2 ... Had her top time in the event during the Paul Short Run after finishing in 25:26.6 ... Came in 10th in the race during the CNU Invitational and placed 14th in the 4k during the Mary Washington Opener ... Also ran the 5k at the William & Mary Invitational and clocked in at 21:14.3.
Track & Field - Capped off the year by finishing third in the 1500 (4:51.89) and fourth in the 800 (2:26.63) at the CAC Outdoor Championships ... Added a pair of sixth-place finishes at the indoor league meet in the 800 (2:29.30) and 4x400-relay (4:13.53) ... Notched her top mark in the mile at the CNU Holiday Open after finishing in 5:39.63 ... Posted a victory in the 1500 at the Dr. Jack Toms Invitational with a 5:16.61 clocking ... Came through with 10 top-five finishes during the year.

At Culpeper County - Excelled on the cross country and track teams for four years with the Blue Devils … Earned All-State accolades as a senior for her work with the cross country squad … Also was a four-time All-Conference and All-Region selection in the fall … Equally successful on the track team, picking up All-State nods during both the indoor and outdoor campaigns … Was a three-time All-Region selection during both the winter and spring seasons and earned All-Conference plaudits for her work on the outdoor squad during each of her final three years … Established indoor school records in the 4x400, 1000, and 1600 and an outdoor mark in the 800 … Member of the National Honor Society and National French Honor Society … Served as her senior class vice president.
 
Personal - Kellie Josephine Hyde is the daughter of Perry and Mary Jo Hyde … Has an older sister, Lauren, and an older brother, Brian … Her dream vacation would be to dive with sharks in Hawaii … Enjoys baking and traveling in her spare time.
